The Parts Analyst at Delval plays a critical role in identifying and procuring the correct components, materials, and parts essential to our clients’ operations and our Service Department’s success. We provide comprehensive training to develop your expertise in boiler equipment, enabling you to accurately identify and quote the inquired product. You’ll gain or enhance your knowledge of sourcing optimal materials at competitive prices. Reporting to the Parts Department Manager, you’ll support Sales, Service, and work with Accounting/Administration departments.
- Provide expert assistance to customers, salespeople, and service technicians via phone and email
- Collaborate with internal resources when additional expertise is needed
- Utilize company tools (NetSuite, CB Navigator, SharePoint, CB manuals, vendor resources) to research solutions
- Create and distribute pricing quotes following company margin guidelines
- Include accurate pricing, lead times, and freight costs in all quotes
- Assist with service-related research and quoting as needed
- Enter orders into systems following department guidelines for accuracy and detail
- Prepare purchase orders to support sales
- Provide follow-up with customers on inquiries requiring research same-day
- Communicate status updates to all involved parties
- Prioritize work based on criticality while maintaining professionalism
- Inventory management and tracking
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments
- Order picking and preparation
- Maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with warehouse work flow process (may involve heavy lifting and ladder climbing) as needed
- Perform shipping and receiving functions as needed
- Physical inventory processes (warehouse counts, service truck counts, cycle counts)
- Attend recommended training to expand product knowledge
- Handle occasional off-hours emergency parts requests with prompt, reliable response
- Manage inventory levels through reorder reports and stock replenishment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
