A plant in Central Pennsylvania recently commissioned a new Cleaver-Brooks CBEX Elite firetube and feedwater tank. The boiler is providing 90 psig steam for food processing.
With the economizer, the package will achieve a 2-3 percent efficiency gain, translating to significantly lower fuel costs for the facility. Over the lifetime of the boiler, the site should save hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel costs!
